You sshould have 3d printer and you can desin your medical tools such as knee & joint replacement using solidworks or inventor or any design software that can save it as .stl and then convert it to G code in Cura and then print it in 3d printer. Or,
You give the designer the drawing or the shape of what thingss you want to make, and then the designer design it in software, and then print it in 3d printer. next they send it to you.
