Curious what tools people use.
SolidWorks in combination with a video editing software.
Possible to produce nice animations combining them.
Solidworks in combination with after efects or Cinema 4D works pretty good !
Inventor Studio - a module included in Autodesk Inventor Professional.
Solidworks to generate--> .IMG or jpeg frames --> ffmpeg to convert to video or --> GIMP to convert to GIF
DAZ 3D.. The best there is.. Heh..
Solidworks to model.
Keyshot to render.
I was using Photoshop for animated gifs, but those have all kinds of problems being displayed on GrabCAD. Now I've been using Photoscape for gif images.
fusion 360 + keyshot
Solidworks + Keyshot / 3Ds Max + Adobe Premiere = Good Looking Animation
Based on my own experience
SolidWorks -> Cinema 4D -> Adobe Premiere
it is a very good way to simulate dynamic motions with realistic rendering. I modeled this fire truck in SolidWorks and rendered it in Cinema 4D :
SolidWorks is not really good for rendering, but if you just wanna have some frame line style, it takes really little time to render and works just fine for PPT or other use. Here's an example I made:
Keyshot is good enough for static frame especially for product, but for animation, it is better to use more professional software like MAYA/3ds Max/Cinema 4D.
Creo Mechanism + KeyShot
The fire truck looks awesome! Video can't be shown?
I use RHINO-5 for 3D modeling and animation some time I make use of PowerPoint , Photoshop and some video editing software .
Here is a test video for the fire truck: https://youtu.be/Rs1hAJ_hfqE
hello everyone, please can someone tell me how to animate my models here in grabcad ? thank you
CATIA V5R20 FOR MODELLING
KEYSHOT FOR RENDERING
FREE VIDEO TO FRAME CONVERTER
PHOTOSCAPE FOR GIF MAKING
GIMP FOR OPTIMIZATION OF GIF
▶ Solidworks modeling
▶ Blender 3D Animation
▶ Keyshot Rendering
▶ Photoscape GIF
i am often use the motion function , but i feel is not easily
so i prefer use composer than motion .
DO you have used composer of solidworks plug-in?
Never used composer before, the solidworks motion study is suffcient
I am using SolidWorks & Keyshot
"ultra cura" is a basic and nice tool for 3d printing.
Files from SolidWorks to Blender3D. It perfectly loads U3D or Collada files, preserving even animation of executions.

I use a combo of AutoCAD and Lightwave.
Anyone using the Catia Kinematic Tool? Catia is pretty ugly to handle the kinematics module, but maybe someone has good experience with it?
Yes I use catia kinematic tool. What is your problem.
We use Simlab Composer.
It supports almost all popular native CAD formats along with parasolid, IGES & STEP and many more
Very much effective software with all needed tools for animation, rendering, simulation & extract interactive 3D PDF as well.
cost almost 70% lesser then all other software like keyshot, 3Dmax etc.
Ya i must say ''WE''. as we are team
