I learnt Autocad 2D & 3D using the help command. Everything is explained. I did not have any formal traning. Do your work step by step.

since you are very familier user with 2D then you will not have difficulties learning and changing to 3D

The new method in CAD is to design 3D then generate the 2D drawings.

Youtube have plenty of very useful tutorials you can learn by doing and following the tutorials.

The help is useful but it is taking indivisual commands, the better is to get a book and learn from there.

Thank you!! I have book marked it and will give it ta try. I became very proficent in SolidWorks 2017, and have done things like the jet engine stands fot the Trent 800 from scratch. Sketch the basic part shape, extrude to max thickness, add, subract and tap; making a weldment!! Below link is my handy work!!
