Con autocad 2018 en adelante, puedes importar directamente el pdf a el espacio modelo, el comando es "pdfimport"

Which AutoCAD version are you using? AutoCAD Mechanical 2018 has a command that can import PDF into AutoCAD, but not all PDF can be imported, have to try your luck........pdfimport

Im using the AutoCAD 2015 version. The pdfimport command was added on 2017 version.

Really? Cos I also had to rely on external resources to do conversion until we had AutoCAD Mechanical 2018.

I googled for & saved any website that offers free online conversion. But most times, it's like max 2 documents to 1 email daily. So sometimes when we got many documents, we even used personal emails & borrowed emails to do it! LOL

I think it should be made clear that PDF documents that can easily be converted to AutoCAD are vectored PDF's. PDF's that contain images will appear blank in most conversions.

Most of the time I receive scanned files of old architectural plans. These scanned files are image based and I would use an image to vector converter and then vector to DWG converter to obtain an editable file.

This process can be time consuming especially if the images from a scan comes out grainy and cleaning up the image with an image editor is required. Images that contain colors are even more difficult to work with. For best results with a scan, try to obtain an images that are high in resolutions and low in colors. For quick results, insert, crop and scale the image in a CAD program and trace the lines.

I use online an conversions to produce dwg or dwf. As mentioned previously the PDF file that you're converting must contain vector graphics in order to produce decent results. Conversions can be done at:

It goes without say, I would not use company files or files that are highly sensitive or confidential to convert pdf to dwf online.

Scanned pdf drawing can not be converted in dwg format. only those pdf drawing which are printed from CAD file can be converted in dwg. And importing pdf file to AutoCAD is of no use because we can not delete or add a single line in it , even we can not check dimensions in that. That pdf file act as image on the AutoCAD screen. If any body has something new about that than please respond.

Some versions of Autocad will open a vector pdf. Then Scale imported "by reference" using a known dimension.

Illustrator will save a pdf to DXF

Inkscape will save a pdf to dxf.
