I have not seen this yet, could you share an example?

Recently I found out that a project out there was using models from GrabCAD for commerical purposes. Sent them an email and they contacted the author and worked something out. I think if someone wants to use our work commerically, working out some payment is fine.

Maybe these guys meant it this way, but yeah, they should not be so explicit.

Grabcad is no medium to sell your drawings. 80% of the drawings here are unfinished to produce or allready copies of existing parts/products. Im sharing the files so people can build the project themselfs, in return i only ask for pictures of the finished project. I would like to see how the machine gets better and better by other designers/engineers. From that my products can evolve by learning from other peoples vision wich i can benefit from if i have to build another one.
