I think that is not a new problem, Inventor has always had problems with complex sketches what you can try is avoid the mirror and fillet functions in the sketch and use them in on the part its self. I found that making the sketch as simple as possible and using the functions on the part can make the part work better.

I have a very weird problem with the sketch offset function. If I draw something and offset it with a value as in the attached image the offset will use an incorrect value and then I will have to double click on the dimension and press enter to fix it. When I double click on the dimension the value is correct but isn't in the sketch.

Does anyone else have this problem

This problem may occur from not choosing the origin correctly. Since the indicator indicates green color which says that it is origin, it cannot catch the origin.

Have you checked to make sure the tolerance on that parameter is set to nominal?

Yes I checked, the strange part is that the each time the amount varies.

I have tried this many times trying the select the loop in different ways and it still happens, but the sketch is fully constrained after I used the function.

Can you submit submit that sketch (.ipt) to try to reproduce the situation on my Inventor?
