I have created an asset, it disappears when I try to place it into an assembly. does anyone know why this is happening?
My asset is tool rail, with parameters, it looks like everything is in order, when you chose it from the library it shows up in the drawing until you try to place it. When you click to place or put in coordinates it disappears. I have worked with assets before this is a first for me.

when you click to place it, and it disappears,
can you see it in the assembly / model browser ?
Then you can do Find In Window
