Who's ready for a new challenge?
You guys always have some clever ideas, so let's see how low this one can go. I have eight features.
This is a SOLIDWORKS model called Boom Knuckle. The "drawing" is missing a few dimensions, so just worry about features without dimensions. I skipped the small radius features, and what looks like a counterbore in Section C-C
I'll create a "Low Feature Count Challenge #15 - SOLUTION" post if you want to show your solution. That way people can work on the challenge without seeing hints.

5 features is the best I can do so far but I made it really overcomplicated trying to get less.
Yup. These challenges are definitely not about the best way to make a model, just making them with the lowest feature count.

I remade the model and was able to get mine down to 5 features as well. I thought I was going to make it with only 4 features, but that didn't work out:
We must have used different methods to make our models, as I see some extra "seams" on your model. I look forward to seeing what features you used if you feel like posting the features used in the solution discussion for this model.
