This is my attempt with 1 Body > 5 Features:

I was able to do it in 4 features.

If CATIA supports revolving 3D Sketches, then it'll definitely win this challenge...

CATIA has 2D, planar sketches only, no 3D Sketches like SolidWorks. One of my 4 features is a revolved sketch.

Does SW support revolving 3D sketches?

Unfortunately, SolidWorks doesn't revolve 3D Sketches (yet).

Another Question: does CATIA create planes as separate features?

In CATIA, planes are considered construction features, just like points and lines. For the Low Count Feature Challenges, I would not count planes, or any other construction elements (like a sketch), as a Feature. I think these are called "references" in SW?

They are called reference geometry in SW, but they're added as a separate feature.

The main goal is to get it done as 1 body, so I'm afraid I'll have to beat

your record and do it with 4 Features > 1 Body!

Yup...

Every 2 rows of pixelated "pixels" are one feature.

It’s low feature count. Not low body count. Extra bodies tends to add to the number of features so it works against you. However, if I understand the competition correctly, the number of bodies is irrelevant.

Looks good, but keep in mind the bodies take on the name of the feature that made them.

You've blurred out the feature names (good job) but by expanding the group for solid bodies you've re-exposed your feature names.

I think the best solution is to leave the solid bodies group collapsed so it just shows a body count. Renaming the features/bodies is another option.

3 Features. 1 body. No extra workplanes or other construction elements.

My solution only works because Yahya said "dimensions aren't important". Notice the center connecting link appears a little shorter than what it ought to be.

In this particular challenge, getting it all as one body is actually harder than making it as separate bodies, which is why I went with that rule.

Anyways, look like that didn't stop you from breaking my record :)

I know how to make it in 3 features, but to do it in SW, I need SW to support revolving 3D Sketches.

So Creo absorbs the revolution feature into the pattern. Whereas Inventor and Solidworks leave the revolution as a feature on a line by itself after the circular pattern. Am I see that correctly?

Does Creo have some kind of a mirror function as part of the pattern command? How did you get the second revolution to turn around for the opposite end? There’s some fancy slight of hand going on there. LOL

In the first iteration I used two circular patterns.

In the second I used a dimesion driven table pattern.
