I have been looking at that exact same diffrential design and it is a LSD (limited slip diffrential). As an engneering student and a lover of design and CAD. My next project is to design a full F1 Gearbox and diffrential using mathmatical calculations. It is currently still in the early reasearch phase Since i am creating a calculator in Excel to reverse engineer gear ratios which i have found from an F1 forum online into the pitch diameters of their subsequent gears. Now I am working on taking that data and calculating the rest of the data for the gears. This is currently going well however the only problem is that I am using the DIN standard to calculate the gears as it is an industry used and i am getting confused since there are 1000s of diffrent versions of the formulas to calculate the gears.

I am so confused on which ones to use.
