This is what happened when I generate a catpart

This is what happened when i click the main body.

This is when i import it in digitized shape editor, it can't recognized as a body. I can't make it solid. How am I suppose to do? Thank you very much.

stl is 3D mesh model. You need to use it as reference for recreate B-Rep Solid 3D model and then export into step or igs.

It seems that you can use only Part Design for this one.

In Digitized Shape Editor make necessary sections for reference and measuring.

Thank you for the reply Sir. Unfortunately, i can't open this stl file in the Part Design.

I'm not familiar with Digitized Shape Editor Sir, but this is the one only that can open my stl file. And also in the assembly I can add it as an existing component, but sadly i can't generate a CATPart.

On your 3rd picture you have imported stl mesh inside Part.

Use to generate necessary sections for reference and measuring.

Then go to Part Design Workbench and use Sketches and Features (Pads, Pockets, Ribs, Filets, etc...) to recreate 3D model.

You can't get B-Rep CATIA 3D model automatically. You must make 3D model using stl mesh only as reference.

The points mentioned here are correct, it looks like you received a point cloud of a While Light Scan or likewise. The only way to recreate a solid model, is to measure and create your sketches, pads, pockets, etc... It would be handy if you had this physical part to take caliper measurements on. It seems as thought the geometry is fairly simple so recreating shouldn't be to difficult.

You should be able to copy your point cloud into a Geometrical Set in your Part. That way you can keep it visible while overlaying and creating your PartBody.

IGS and STEP does not support polygonal (STL). Export an FBX to the software you want. You may need another program to open the STL and export the FBX

Unfortunately, not yet sir. I have 1 week to do it, i may able to fix the model but i can't turn it into solid.

The way of thinking for polygonal modeling is distinct from the logic of solidworks. Actually you will not turn polygonal into solids, at least I have not yet seen software that does it with simple command or conversion. You can model over the polygonal (as a three-dimensional basis to guide you in the physical and volumetric forms) and generate a 'solid'.

i tried to use meshmixer and saved it as .obj file then use it in fusion 360 and saved it as .step file.

And i used catia part design to make it as a solid.

It works. Technically , but the model kind of rough because of the limits in face count in fusion 360.
