Dear friends,


I tried to import a box into ANSYS from CATIA for analysis with some overhanging structure which is also hollow, but ANSYS automatically changes the hollow box into solid while the overhanging structure remains solid. Please help someone. Really need someone to guide me out as it is my final year project.

I usually import from CATIA to ANSYS via .stp

Hi bro,

I tried for both iges and stp file but it doesn't work. Can you help with something else please if you know about it

Attach some pictures on error. Let me see if I have encountered with such error earlier. Also attach your model in .stp format.
