Hi guys,


Is there a way in Catia to add a length constraint, which should respect the kinematics?


I have a very complex kinematic model, but I want to add a length constraint from point A to B which should respect the kinematic moving range. Is this even possible?

Not sure, but maybe you can pass through dedicated parameters for your kinematic and your design?

Maybe.


If you have a Point-Curve joint, you can constrain the length of the curve to limit how far the point can move.  Same is true with some other types of joints.


Another possibility is when a joint is used as an Input Command (such has a Revolute joint): a maximum and minimum angle can be set to limit the rotation.

what do you mean about kinematics??

in sketch environment you can use "animate constraint" to do some kinematic moves...

your question is not clear
