Can it be done in catia and how

I believe you can do that using the 'generative structural analysis'in catia.

First design the truss based on the data you have given,like area diameter length.

apply material,

then in 'generative structural analysis' workbench use constraints>clamp to define the fixed points.

then use loads tool to define the loads

for meshing you can double click on the triangle green icon to define mesh

then you can click the compute button

To see the results use the image toolbar to visualize different stresses...

I am not completely sure about the method above for trusses, especially since I use Ansys APDL for truss analysis and other analysis.

Do anyone have already done model of basic car as audi R 8? i'm still doing this project but i cant go throught , can you help me ????
