Waterjet cutting project on CATIA

Hi, I'm from France and I'm woorking on titanium casting project.

I have to simulate a water cutting system on with Catia as main tool but i Don't even know if it's possible.

I have a distinctive produt to cut, my main difficulty is: how to represent my cutting tool, and what functions can i use for madelise the cutting process.

Looking for your advises.

Normally, Catia software can not simulate complicate simulation like cutting. If you can, please try to learn Abaqus.

It's been awhile since I did any NC programming with CATIA. It used to replay (simulate) to tool path. But most people added Vericut to also simulate the cutting.

Waterjet cutting is typically 2D profile cutting - right? Just simulate the water jet with a long, straight cutter with a small diameter matching the water diameter.

That the matter, my cutting isn't in 2D but 3D. That why i'm looking for replacement or add tout Catia
