Reinforcement pad on Pressure vessel

Dear All Experts;

I try yo create a reinforcement pad on a cylindrical vessel. on a cylindric surface there is a circular part. and around that circular part I try to create a reinforcement pad. I am using circular sketch and make them projection o surface then I am using blend command to fill these circular projected to surface and then I switch to part design and give the thickness to blend. But solid, not just around the circular piece. space appears. How can I prevent this.

I think I'm using the wrong method or making a mistake?

I'm not sure I understand your question.

I'm a little confused about why you are using a BLEND to fill in the circular projections - I would use a FILL surface instead.

To thicken the pad only, Insert a new body and do the THICKNESS with that new body active (DEFINE IN WORK OBJECT).

To eliminate the gap between the pad and the pipe; make the pad without the hole and then SPLIT the solid with the surface of the pipe.

First of all I wanted to try different ways.

But my problem is related to thickness. also due to split / trim command I cannot create solid part like I imagine. I think I make a mistake.

Also same problem is here. there is circular nozzle on a cylindric surface.
I create them with inside diameter and outside diameter then I split the bodies from circular nozzle then first I gave thickness from outside diameter along inside diameter, a small part seems from front view.

then I gave thickness from inside diameter to outside diameter there is a gab around the circular nozzle.

first and second pictures shows inside diameter, outside diameter and circular nozzle with operation split third pictures thickness was given from outside to inward, last picture thickness was given from inward to outside.

I do not understand why I cannot create thickness without gab or too much part like picture pres_003.

I think I hope I can explain my problem.

Could you please attach a picture showing the tree diagram showing all the features. This will help me better understand. It seems you are doing some surfaces and some solids. Thanks.
