My membership application has just been approved. What I'm hoping most to find are the best resources, so well introducing the lay person to design and fabrication processes as to ensure, if possible, achieving design ideals in prospectively new or different implementations.

More specifically, a principal interest would be to ascertain the best prospective materials and procedures for molding ferrules to bamboo flyfishing rods. While I may already have found sufficient, relatively under-developed means for doing so, I am interested in ascertaining the best ideas and materials.
