I've driven a diesel powered VW Jetta for the past twenty years (360,000 miles). Today I drove home a Tesla Model 3.
My opinion of electric vehicles may now be biassed. But, feel free to ask any questions. I'm still getting used to the car, and the idea of plugging it in at night.
Any other electric car drivers here on GrabCAD?
So far my favorite feature is the regenerative braking from the motor. I drove 78 miles today on the highway, city streets, and in the country; the only time I touched the brake pedal was to start the car.
I got 60,000 miles out of pads and rotors on the Jetta. Brakes could last 250,000+ miles on the Model 3.
