Flow-i Bridge Users

Andrew Robinson. I’m an Anaesthetist and Intensivist in Rotorua, New Zealand. I realised that using our Flow-i machines for long term ventilation would mean having to use them in the OR as Getinge’s advice is that we need scavenging for that. But my hospital doesn’t have many ORs and we'll need them for other emergency work. We do have plenty of expansion space for our ICU. But there is no scavenging there. So hence the Bridge, which makes the Flow-i gas pathway shorter and reduces the opportunity for internal condensation.
