I am interested in 3D printing the mechanical moving parts of the standing desk with creative alternative methods. I am starting now on my journey of relearning modelling and 3D printing. I was originally thinking of using a gear assembly but I'm open to other solutions. Anybody got any input to share?
Am i being overly ambitious for trying to 3D print at a commercial level for fun? Seeing the Ultimaker solutions that MakerBot offers for rapid business prototyping got me thinking of ideas I want to attempt for fun and share with the group.
Happy New to you all. :)
