What program is good for design and calculate stress and life of gears?
I want a program to make my gear design procedure easy. I want to design gearbox with it and I want the software be able to calculate stress and life time according to torque and speed applied. Any suggestion and help?

Gears should be design with calculation before draw on programs. You can see Hertz method that consider maximum contact pressure. it's a simple formula referred to material and number of cycle gears do.
