Hello Mr. Jackson,

I use the raise 3D pro 2 plus printer, I have been using it for the last 6 months and have faced a lot of issues.

-Filament blockage

-Filament leak over the hot-end

-Build plate adhesion failure

-Nozzle leak

-Takes a lot of time to print

-Can print dual filament but while printing can find some unnecessary extrusion's.

Ender Pro 3 works well I haven't used any other printers yet.

Only 1 issue leveling the hot bed thats it.

We also have an Ender 3 Pro and have had adhesion issues with ABS. We bought an enclosure and it seems to help. Leveling the bed is tricky!

I hope it's not too late, and I don't see the blog post date deadline anyway.

I use Creality CR-10S Pro v2 for about 2 months, using approximately 5-6 kgs of filament.

These are some problems that occur :

1. Filament stopped at heater box because of bad filament winding (entangled filament)
2. Precision between layer / slice. Many failed printing especially on tall & thin objects, like pipe, pole etc.
3. Model deformation, very apparent in U-shape model that printed vertically (like middle part of container ship). Some airplane wings that I print vertically will made an U-shape deformation at the bottom. Maybe thicker print will solve this, but you need much more time and material.
4. Balancing between printing precision (0.10 vs 0.15 vs 0.20 mm precision in my case) vs time.
5. The need of stable, foolproof, and easy to use slicer software. A big nope : printing many different objects at once (the printer stopped at 30%), auto positioning in slicer (some objects not printed). Some warning at slicing procedure will be very nice.
6. Objects thinner than your printer head diameter will not printed. Found this the hard way, and no warning from slicer software.
7. Trial and error regarding bed temperature & printer head temperature.

These are some of my experiences, and I hope this will help the other users too.

I had messy filament and kept on tangling while 3D printing something and I have to keep watching it.

I think that material issues are related to the type of machines and that certain machines work better based upon the material, diameter, process time, and whether there are going to be secondary post-processes.
