Hey everyone! I wanted to make an announcement pertaining to our Community Guidelines, as we have added a new Guideline that we need your help to enforce!
"DO NOT post any contact information (yours or anyone else's) in public spaces on GrabCAD. This includes email addresses, phone numbers, passwords or WhatsApp contact details. You are welcome to share this information with someone directly over a private message, or display this information on your profile page, but it is not allowed anywhere else on the site."
If you see threads in any Groups that involve sharing contact info, please report it to us immediately and repeat this guideline to them so they are made aware of it. We want to make sure that everyone's personal information is kept private and secure, so let's work together to keep our Groups free of sensitive info. Have a great day!
What's the rule on contact information showing up in tutorials?
Tutorials are easy to search, and there's a page of results with Whatsapp, and other contact information.
Every page on GrabCAD (questions, discussions, profiles, tutorials, models...etc.) are public pages. I don't understand the distinction(s) which allow contact information on profile pages, but not in other areas.
Having a search function in Groups would make it easier to find such content.
