We know that your inbox was getting cluttered in messages. So Grabby and I talked to the Dev team and decided that we needed to give you members a feature to clean up all those messages. So thanks to the Dev team fresh out the coding oven......Delete your messages!



You will notice a new Trashcan option next your message status icon on the right side of your message. If you would like to delete this message you can do so by simply clicking. But BE WARNED once you delete the message and confirm you want it deleted it will be gone forever.


We hope you all enjoy this feature, please let us know in the comments what you think. Also don't forget if you have any other ideas that you would like to see on GrabCAD be sure to let me know in some discussions or message me, Grabby and I always love feedback!

I'd say this is an awesome feature...

I used to have tons of useless messages, now I have only 6!


But does that mean that the other user will still have his conversation with me, or will it be deleted from both of us?

The other member will have the conversation even if you delete it.

I've made a small test with a friend of mine...

I sent him a message, then deleted it before he replied. When he replied, only his reply was visible to me.

If I wasn't testing (i.e. had a conversation with him, deleted it, then he added sth. later), it would be pretty weird (especially if I had forgotten about the conversation).


Can't conversations be restored when a new message is sent?
