The common denominator across the globe today (driven by social media and advertising) is YOUNG (new grads) and CHEAP labor.

Nobody seems to want to pay for quality and experience until they have lived the nightmare of problems that have blown up in their customers faces and then the customer returns demanding their money back with lawsuits and other legal problems, as well as major stock market dives (e.g. Boeing).

Only after the catastrophe of failures do companies understand the real value of experience and you-get-what-you-pay-for !!

But don't fall into the trap of the race-to-the-bottom with $2 per hour labor rates as you will only prostitute yourself and the industry into commoditization with the accelerated demise of your own career and livelihood.

Charge a fair price for an ethical delivery of work based upon expertise and quality. After all you will eventually only be competing with yourself !

It gets worse when you consider all the low wage CAD websites that are out there that are 'project' based for an entire design for $200 and worldwide CAD designers are beating their themselves over the head to race-to-the-bottom pricing !

This is where grabcad models can showcase talent versus cheap incompetent labor that the auction will win on low price and sacrifice everything (quality, talent, experience, reliability, manufacturability, ...etc) to deliver crap.
