Possible to have support for .HEIC image file format?

It would save space on Grabcad Servers.

.HEIC is an image format that saves space versus jpegs. It's widely used by Apple on all their devices.

It would also help save space for CAD rendered images or real world photos taken of CAD parts on people's hard drives.

Any future support for this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Hello and thanks for your question!

Interest in .HEIC format seems to be very low among GrabCAD Community members - so far 18 files uploaded by 11 different users. Also our current version of the viewer has no support for .HEIC.

Hence, as of now, allowing this file format would have almost no value for the GrabCAD Community.

I'll keep your request noted and we can evaluate it after some time.
