I saw the same a few days ago. I think the Group was called Sports Equipment(?).

There were about a dozen posts, all seemed to be the Group creator linking back to the models they made. Some were sports related (shoes, balls, etc.), other models were not (a car)... unless we make the stretch to consider a sports car a piece of sporting equipment (like a ball, or bat).

I don't see any sport related Group today. Were some groups removed? Is it possible for a member to delete a group?

Who are in control of the Groups ? Staff or Moderators ?

People who are in charge of running the groups are users themselves. if that is what you are asking Cadcloud.

As we cant check all groups, we ask that you report said groups via our reporting system so we can check these groups.

I think individuals are just hoping to find others that have common interests. They make a few posts, looking for feedback and when nothing happens the group just goes dormant. I don’t think there’s any nefarious intent.

The problem is it’s probably just too easy to create a new group without giving it much thought.

We will do what we can to improve group submissions. We will keep monitoring these groups and the content being added so please keep reporting.

Also the staff and moderators have no such time to check the group one by one; I have a suggestion that we create a group to report the spam; and when we see it, attach the link and @ the staff; let them handle it; maybe can make our community more simple;
