GrabCAD Community User Group

You might have already noticed that the posts here have rich text editing capabilities like bold, italic, etc. Also you can now easily attach images from the same menubar.

But the really cool new feature is embedding content from other GrabCAD Community pages like models, questions, tutorials. All you have to do is copy a URL into the post on a new line and press enter and see the magic happen. All GrabCAD content URLs are automatically turned into nice and readable blocks with a little thumbnail. This is the best way to share and discuss the cool things you have made.

For example I'm really amazed by this motorcycle model by 13 Studio:

Rocketman 2K the concept cruiser. A flat-four 2000 c.c. engine makes highly speed when long way road travel.

We added functionality to highlight which discussions inside a group have activity since your last visit.

If you see a bold topic with a little green dot, that means someone has posted something new in there!

Very nice work!

As you can see every post has a simple "Reply" button now.

You can link back to an older post and you can see previews or jump to that post to go back in a discussion. All the posts still show linearly so it stays as one big discussion.

You can now link to individual posts using the permalink from the edit dropdown.

All the emails and notifications also use those links and direct you to the correct post and highlight it.

You can now invite members to your group from the Members tab!

When will the "New" icon on the Groups tab be removed?
