May be on notification window under reaction tab you can see members reaction to your post. So you can find john brown's link there.

I agree, but I receive notifications with a link for only reactions to a post or reply that I have made. This make perfect sense.

In the above example when I look at the reactions on another member's post or reply, I only see the names given in the black box. If there are 100+ members with the same name, it is impossible to know who reacted.

Other parts of the site give a full link for a member when they comment, like, or answer in the Library, Tutorial, Challenge and Question sections. It seems odd to not have the same behavior in the Reactions for the Discussion area.

I'm not looking for John Brown. I just used that reaction as an example.

Yes, you are correct. May be you should take this information to GC staff's or programmer developer. I recommend them to make the name as link so that one will identifies the person.
