What are the requirements for a model to become "popular"?
Hello all,
I have been asking me all the time, what the exact creteria are to get a model to the popular site.
My idea was that a model should have et least 40 likes OR 100 downloads. But this seems to be not the only criterium since I have several models with over 100 downloads which have never been on popular site.
Which criterium am I missing to understand?

It may not be defined because it changes from time to time. For instance, at one time no "dangerous" models would make it to the popular page of the Library.
Hopefully a staff member will add some details on what makes a model popular, but you can likely figure it out by keeping an eye on models that appear on the popular page.

Based on those models, there needs to be at least 100 downloads, and 19 likes in three weeks. Watch new models appear, and we'll have this narrowed down in a few days.
Thank you for that explanation! This was exactly the way I studied the "popular" models. Additionally I observed that models with more than 40 like are also getting popular, no matter how many downloads the get. This is why I wrote those numbers in my question. The period for recieving the likes and downloads might be only an estimation, so I wondered if there are maybe some specific numbers from GrabCAD the stuff could name here.
