Hi,

I have completed mechanical cad course and have knowledge of autocad,catia,solidworks and pro E softwares . Now i am looking for jobs in design.

Please suggest me how to get jobs and also what all I need to know to crack the interview

First you should work on your design and technical knowledge and the try read following books

MOS,TOM,etc

and if you want to go in research field then try each and every books regarding material, strength and FEA Books

Drawing standards and domain knowledge (plastcs, casting, forging piping or welding) will also help you. New Product Development Process, PLM and DFMEA are the basics but next level for freshers.
