Thank you, But this work for flat surfaces. Problem is to make it on existing curved surface extracted from chair.

I think you can create one element of it and then pattern it. I hope 1 element will not be too tough to make.

Making it on a flat surface is simple, as you said.

make 1 element . use curve driven pattern twice. make the curves as per your chair edge extracted

use the extracted edges as your guide curves. i hope you get the pattern
