Is internet right platform for Mechanical Engineers?

I want to enquire has anyone from India has ever got any freelance project online or it’s all not possible and if yes than what are the skills required that others are lacking.
Please Enginners help other to build and grow.

i have been into design from 2016 onward, i have a YouTube channel too where i upload my designs. Also i have tried many freelance website which does not fetch me work in anyway. However few of my subscribers on YouTube have approached for their design projects and offered me money for the work, they are mostly masters or phd students. That's all with the freelance design work.
Keep designing ;)
