• Must be a 3D CAD experience and proficiency with SolidWorks.
• Experience creating detailed engineering/product drawings for manufactured mechanical components, including bill of materials generation.
• Create or revise accurate, detailed SolidWorks CAD models, drawings, BOM’s, and other engineering documentation as required.
• Participate in design and drawing reviews, prototype builds and verification testing and documentation.
• Imported and converted surface models from 3D scans or other 3D programs into Solidworks models. Used Solidworks surfacing to optimize the 3D models.
• Worked directly with 3D printing PLA and ABS components. Designed components to be easily 3D printed.
• Help analyze and solve technical problems related to new or existing products and provide solutions that can be implemented in a timely manner.
• Timely follow ups with vendors on progress of projects to keep them on track with assigned time lines.
• Ability to effectively communicate engineering needs / changes to local and overseas vendors
• Organizational and follow-up skills.
• Self-starter.
• Thoroughness / attention to detail.
