GrabCAD Philippines - GCPH

Hello All,

So I was wondering for a while. But before that.

Fun fact: Did you know that GrabCAD PH is one of the first groups in this platform?

We happen to have been invited by some of the site's designers, developers early around the first quarter of 2018. They needed participants of the beta-version and I happen to be quite active for several years, providing some, in my perspective, relevant things here and there with-in the site. So I joined and I've thought of proposing the Group's name. They accepted it and... (voilà). Fast forward a few months later.The same concept of how they name groups popped up (hehe). Meaning >>Grabcad then the country of where the Group Admin is from. Simply put. We, in this group, in a way were originators and others followed our way. How awesome is that? :)

Now back to the topic. So I was thinking of how we should really communicate. There are bunch of groups here that communicate using their mother tongue. I can't even clearly decipher what they are talking about even with the use of online translation sites and finds it unfair because it seems that that approach makes their group exclusive only to whoever uses their local language. But we somehow, too, are exclusive to Filipino users because I only accept/invite members that are from the Philippines and usually do not accept others that are not connected to that fact. (apologies to those, I think thousands already, users that have not been approved and rejected of their request to join though because you do not meet the requirements, too many to consider and quite a handful to manage if ever. Not to mention that grabcad just celebrated the 4 million users milestone in October 2017. Just let that number sync-in for a second).

It does make sense using Tagalog because it's much easier for most of us (I think). But I'd like to hear your input.
