I have a couple linear linkage platform lifts with their accompanying single mechanism linear linkages that show up under my name, Jeff Lucas, when you search “linear linkage” in the library. If you’re looking for some brain teasers, calculating the linear lift force curve for each lift, given a specific input torque should keep a person up a few nights; especially since the torque is applied in 3 dimensions, not just 2.

Are you able (by time) to showcase and answer the questions that they may generate ?

I could answer questions to the extent that I am able, but I myself have not figured out the linear force curves because each is going to be quite complicated for each or the platforms. The horizontal input shaft version varies the torque/force in 3 dimensional space at the u-joints where the input rotation is converted to oscillating rotation at a perpendicular angle. The vertical input shaft version has its own u-joints where the two long arms are linked to the rotating members. The actual lift force curve is a Rubik's Cube that I probably don't have time at present to solve. But, I can likely tell pretty quickly where people may wander off course.

Why don't you start with a simpler one ?

i do 3D modeling and CNC for engineering, math or physical models, no problem, learned the 3D craft long ago before Cad garphics, (You realize they have been lofting ships for centuries, with math)

I make things from ideas of others and mine too.

I want to know how much detail needed for proper FEM on guitar neck model structured in lattice isogrid?

I have the cnc machining solid models, STL Polygons, and have physical parts and can physically measure deflection at weights with indicator to compare existing to FEM.

I want to take weight out with more precision than experience.
