I was going to create another common J-pole copper pipe plumbing design like this one but for either 70cm or 6m :

But i figured that there was enough information on the web for those who want to create another variant.

So i did some heavy web searching and found this very interesting antenna called the cycloid :

I used this for the foundation and wanted to improve upon the design using 3d printing and did so to create the mast support. My version looks like this :

2m Amateur Radio Cycloid Omni-Directional Antenna

This is a model of a Amateur Radio Cycloid Omni-Directional Antenna designed for the 2 meter VHF band (135 ~ 150 MHz) using 1/2" copper piping. The onmi-directional antenna is designed for 2m (146 MHz) Amateur Radio for those who are in that hobby, but can be adapted to other VHF or UHF frequencies up to 1 GHz with accommodations to change the pipe and fitting diameters.

Just another interesting concept for those who would like to delve into the experimentation of antenna designs, but who may feel that its too costly and too complex.
