Rendering

We are excited to announce that the public beta of the Light Tracer Standalone is here (https://lighttracer.org)!

Light Tracer Render is the tool to produce photorealistic renderings interactively, in both desktop Web browser and standalone Windows application. It is based on a GPU physically-correct unbiased ray tracing engine achieving accurate light simulation.

The released version introduces significant changes, including a more advanced material model, support for CAD import (STEP/IGES), AI denoisers (both NVIDIA and Intel), transparent background, custom backplates, as well as improved user experience. While many other renderers based exclusively on NVIDIA's CUDA technology, restricting it to NVIDIA video cards, Light Tracer can run probably on any GPU produced after 2013 (please download latest drivers!). Note that the Web version will be updated later along with the official release of Light Tracer Standalone.

If you’re interested in Light Tracer Render, sign up for our public beta which will last till March 2020.

Feel free to report any feedback you have here, we will be happy to talk and answer all your questions.

Can’t wait to hear what you think!
