So you got one battery charging and the other battery currently in use. What is charging the first battery?

The logic confuses me. You must have an outside power source charging the first battery. But the second battery is being used......why?

Why not just use the same power source that is charging the first battery for the whole project (eliminating the second battery).

Or change your power source and get all the DC voltages you need.

what i am building is a system inside of a RC car where there are magnet motor generators being turned to power a lipo balance charger. With both batteries connected to a circuit that switches the output of the charger and the battery so that when one battery is being used the other one is getting charged and when the battery being used is dead it switches over to the battery that i being charged. I am trying to build this to increase the amount of time the RC car can be driven without any pit-stops. i hope you can understand what i'm trying to say.

why not use capacitors instead?

this will allow continuous charging and discharge without cells becoming over charged

This is simple ; you need to diode "wired-OR" the two voltage sources.

If one source is off, the other source will supply current.

The diode should be a low voltage drop schottky (simple) typically around 3.5 Vf , but may have some leakage current.

Another way is to use MOSTFETs with a voltage comparator circuit to turn on or off the batteries. This is more complex but has lower losses.
