Dear All


Why we have to consider the fluid as moving and the designed system will be the as a stationary?

I mean in realty the system is moving while the fluid is stationary "at most cases"..

Can anybody clarify that to me please?

It can and should work both ways. the reason we default to the fluid as what is moving, is that we are usually trying to figure out propulsive energy and efficiency for pumps, or impellars, or propellars etc. where we are trying to move the medium .
