Tommy Versetti is absolutely correct.

But, second to that, the answer is always Rhino3D!

The price is unbelievable, especially if you are a student.
The Grasshopper plugin is the game changer, just a quick browse through the Food4Rhino website for the available free apps will surprise you.

Just like what Tommy Versetti said. However, if you're a hobbyist, FreeCAD is enough

Not trying to be rude but the best CAD software is the one you know!

Solidworks seems to be everywhere but I find it annoying to use. Fusion360 is great and affordable. Ironcad was probably the easiest platform I've learned.

Pick one and learn it and start using it!
