What is the best rebreather between old and new.

Is a rebreather with few parts even safer than a very complex rebreather with lots of electronics?

basic mechanic type is best. electronics should be used for indicators.

unless you can truly make them very reliable and function under pressure. precise O2 injection could benefit from electronic controls.
