Small Wind Energy Machines

In the times we live in, it is easy to see why small wind energy machines may be beneficial; from powering a remote relay station, to keeping a battery charged in a hunting cabin, to providing for an LED light with which a child living off-grid can read at night. But less obvious is the fact that innovation often originates at the point of need. That is, from the users themselves. Now that we have a fairly large forum of bright, innovative designers with an interest in affecting a difference, it may be time to reinvent the common wind turbine, which has remained functionally unchanged for many decades.
