There are times when our model or design changes constantly, due to changes, revisions, etc. and we lose some reference edge of our model, which guides our pattern, use planes, not only the standard ones, but any other plane generated in our design, it serves as a guide, the advantage we get is that even if the model changes in a way, our linear pattern will never collapse or we will have to change the edge guide constantly. I know, Is easy select another edge for your linear pattern

, but the idea is be more practice and effective.
