I know that there is "Task Scheduler" but I've never used it. I did some mass file conversion to .STEP's, but I was using a 3D party software. If I remember right it was using task scheduler in a round about fashion.

You can use the SolidWorks PDM add-on if your version has it and run a mass STEP file conversion.

You'll have to decide whether you're going to translate individual parts or whole assemblies. I would go the whole assembly route and test one assembly out and see if Fusion translates the individual parts with the original SW names. You'll lose all the mates in the process though.

Update. The company chose to not make the change to Fusion 360.
