I am using macros to create machine tooling parts. The items have several basic shapes, and I have decided to create the models with the critical diameter in .005" increments. I can create the models utilizing a design table and a macro. I utilize the task manager to create drawings automatically. The issue comes in trying to dimension the drawings. I can use a macro to add model dimensions, but they are never in the right places on paper. I am talking about a couple hundred drawings. Can this be done using VB?
Hi David,
You may be able to make a call in your macro to the "MODEL DIMENSIONS" but that would require that you dimension your sketch to precipitate out the dimensions that you want on your final dwg.
