The type of arc used does not matter.
Centerpoint, 3 point, tangent... They all give you the same result - an arc. You could draw two circles, and trim away the excess, the result would still be the same.
Which arc tool will be easier to use depends on what you have already sketched:
- There is nothing wrong with 3 point arcs, just remember that you'll need to add tangency constraints.
- Tangent arcs are nice, but they have to be drawn tangent to something. You can't start the sketch with a tangent arc.
- Centerpoint arcs and circles are basically the same.
