How I can use SolidWorks 2018 version file in SolidWorks 2016? I badly in need of the solution to this problem as my pc is of 2nd gen I5. SW 2018 makes the PC slow and also lags horribly. Help me get out of this problem. Thank you.

Try to check if you can save the file to any other previous version, or if it's not a complex project, you can share it and we can help you meet your target.

If feature tree is not a problem, you can save the SW 2018 file as IGES/STEP/Parasolid and open that in SW 2016. It will show as Imported Body/Surface geometry but you will loose the feature tree history.

SW is not forward compatible. In general earlier versions cannot open later version data. Save your part/assembly as Parasolids and open in your version. You loose the features but the solids are stable and free from errors
