Saving Files

Hello, I am trying to save my SolidWorks assembly files as a different file type that I can send to customers. I've been sending them Step files, but I'm not happy with the amount of information they can get from my models. Any suggestions?

There is no file format - other than SLDPRT & SLDASM - that'll give them a feature tree, not even Parasolid files (which SolidWorks files are based on).

Hi
You can save your file as a 3D PDF, they should not be able to see what is inside your model. You can also hide or even suppress some of the components you don't want them to see and then save it as a Step File.
