Wind turbine blade

I wonder if anyone could help?
I'm working on a sustainable energy project which requires a simple animation of a cross section of a Wind Turbine Blade as it travels up the whole length of the blade from the tip to the hub.
It would show, for (example) a 3 meter long cross section of a 90 meter blade changing shape as it travels up the full length of the blade from flat tip to the round hub.
I know this is a big ask but can anyone help as I'm really stuck on how to do it.

It's easy to make this kind of animation. You need second part in assembly to use it like cutting plate. Then make extrude cut in assembly and select cutted body. In animation just move "cutting plate". See attached files.
